En Amérique Centrale, une compagnie pétrolière propose une grosse somme d'argent à qui acceptera de conduire deux camions chargés de nitroglycérine sur 500 kilomètres de pistes afin d'éteindre un incendie dans un puits de pétrole. Quatre aventuriers sont choisis et entament un voyage long et très dangereux...

In the South American jungle supplies of nitroglycerin are needed at a remote oil field. The oil company pays four men to deliver the supplies in two trucks. A tense rivalry develops between the two sets of drivers and on the rough remote roads the slightest jolt can result in death.
