Sommaire
A clever and thoughtful play of a man beset by women. Dick Shannon is a man with a rare gift for science and anxious to go to Brazil to investigate tropical diseases. That, however, would diminish his resources as he would have to give up a business and his wife will not hear of it. She cares about nothing but his money and repays his constant hard work for her with nagging. He also supports his two sisters, though they believe their income is from their mother, whom also he has supported till her death - just before the play. The one pleasant thing in his life is a cousin Jessica: they love one another secretly and think they are good friends.
