Sommaire
The story of "a mother ravaged by one of the war's most tragic consequences". The mother, played by Sophia Loren, and the daughter come under attack by a group of retreating German soldiers. When Loren recovers consiousness "she finds her daughter in a complete state of shock". The story of how these women "survive the horror of war" makes this a very intense and moving film.
